KULTURA, FILM, ŠPORT IN DIPLOMACIJA – VEČER, KI POVEZUJE DRŽAVE, LJUDI IN ZGODBE
Spoštovani,
pred vami je vabilo na naše letošnje posebno druženje, ki bo – za razliko od običajnih političnih srečanj – povezano s kulturo, filmom in športom in ki ga bomo izpeljali v sodelovanju z klubom diplomantom
Letošnje leto v Sloveniji poteka jubilejni 5. mednarodni festival športnega filma www.isff.si , ki združuje vse elemente, ki na poseben način pišejo zgodovino športa in filma : moč, vztrajnost, ljubezen, željo po uspehu in premagovanje nemogočega.
Filmski program letošnjega jubilejnega leta je izjemen, saj finalisti prihajajo iz 21 držav. Naj bo filmski program in naše druženje, ki bo 18. junija ob 19.30 v novem medijskem kompleksu ODISEJA v Ljubljani, skupna točka srečanja, povezovanja in spoštovanja med državami.
Na dogodku si bomo skupaj ogledali slovenski film Bratovščina iz igrišča. Film govori o začetkih Slovenske odbojkarske reprezentance in njeni poti na veliki olimp športa, ki ga je z delom, vztrajnostjo in predanostjo dosegla. Režiserji in producenti so to zgodbo zapisali v pomemben zgodovinski filmski dokument.
Seveda so v programu festivala tudi filmi iz vaših držav in iskreno upamo, da si jih bo ogledalo veliko gledalcev. Vse zgodbe, ki jih zajema filmski trak, so zgodbe ljudi, športnikov in vseh, ki so povezani s tem velikim dogodkom in bodo predstavljene in predvajane od 17 do 19 junija V Rogaški Slatini, Mariboru in Ljubljani, ter na TV arena šport v mesecu maju in juniju.
Lahko smo ponosni na njihovo delo, saj preko športa, filma in kulture predstavljajo države in kulturo preko filma. Zato upamo, da se nam pridružite na našem filmskem večeru, 18. junija, se srečate z nami, ustvarjalci, športniki ter osebami iz sveta športa, kulture, filma in gospodarstva, ki so pripomogle k temu, da lahko ta festival predstavimo tudi vam.
Naše vabilo velja za 18. junij ob 19.30 v Ljubljani, v ODISEJI. Uradno vabilo vam bomo poslali naknadno, vendar je predhodno obvestilo in potrditev prihoda, kot je običajno, za nas izjemno zaželena.

We are pleased to invite you to our special annual gathering, which – unlike our usual political meetings – will this year be dedicated to culture, film, and sport, and will be organized in cooperation with the Slovenian Diplomatic Club.
This year, Slovenia is hosting the 5th anniversary edition of the International Sports Film Festival – ISFF (www.isff.si), an event that uniquely brings together all the elements that shape the history of sport and cinema: strength, perseverance, passion, the pursuit of success, and the ability to overcome the impossible.
The film programme of this anniversary edition is truly exceptional, as finalists come from 21 countries. We hope that the film programme and our gathering, taking place on 18 June at 7:30 PM at the new multimedia complex ODISEJA in Ljubljana, will serve as a meeting point for dialogue, connection, and mutual respect among nations.
During the event, we will watch the Slovenian documentary film Brotherhood of the Court (Bratovščina z igrišča), which tells the story of the beginnings of the Slovenian national volleyball team and its journey toward one of the greatest achievements in Slovenian sport, reached through dedication, perseverance, and hard work. The directors and producers have transformed this story into an important historical film document.
The festival programme will also feature films from your respective countries, and we sincerely hope they will attract a wide audience. Every story captured on film reflects the lives of people, athletes, and everyone connected to this remarkable event. The films will be presented and screened from 17 to 19 June in Rogaška Slatina, Maribor, and Ljubljana, as well as on Arena Sport television during May and June.
We may all take pride in the work of these creators, who present their countries and cultures to international audiences through sport, film, and the arts. We therefore sincerely hope that you will join us on 18 June for our film evening and meet with filmmakers, athletes, and distinguished guests from the worlds of sport, culture, film, and business who have contributed to making this festival possible.
